Update: Citizen’s Action Committee

A Readington Township resident reached out to us with some update information, that we have verified, regarding the Solberg Master Plan Citizen’s Action Committee, announced at the December 5, 2023 Information Meeting.

As of today, no information has been provided nor have multiple specific requests for information to DY Consultants been responded to. Additionally, it was reported by Readington Township’s Committee at the February 5, 2024 meeting that they have received no information in response to their request for representation on the Citizen’s Action Committee. It is hard to take the Solberg’s seriously with examples of transparency such as this!

The report we received also indicated a call to Senator Andrew Zwicker’s office and a conversation with a Legislative Aid yielded that they have had several calls and emails from concerned citizens and have reached out to the DOT for information… to date, nothing returned. Given that your money is paying for the Solberg plan via DOT Grant funding, we feel there is no excuse for S-T-O-N-E-W-A-L-L-I-N-G!

We encourage you to contact your District 16 Legislators and in order to facilitate these communications, District 16 which includes both Branchburg and Readington, representatives are Senator Andrew Zwicker, Assemblyman Roy Freiman and Assemblywoman Mitchelle Drulis with office mailing addresses in this linkAdditionally, email communications may be sent to one or all via the NJ Legislative website.
