With the information void encompassing the Solberg Master Plan Update residents of both Readington and Branchburg are becoming more and more concerned. Their homes and properties of more than 30 years are at risk of being seriously devalued or worse. Further the tranquil rural lifestyle they have come to enjoy is at serious risk (just ask the Bald Eagle in the post below).
As long-time observers of Solberg airport and opponents of the expansion plans of their 1997 Master Plan, we have strong beliefs that the New Master Plan will be every bit as extreme in terms of building a facility that will handle bigger faster jet aircraft, just as an Advanced Services Airport is expected to do.
For that reason, we welcome the new/recreated Branchburg Readington Airport Action Committee (BRAAC) to the organized opposition to airport expansion.
