Airport expansion is expensive, more often than not, sinificantly exceeding the potential revenue that could be generated by the infrastructure development itself! Back in December 2023 when the Solberg Master Plan update was first revealed to the public, this site published a post that documented the “Want” for Solberg Expansion exceeded any valid “Need”.
Since then, many concerned citizens of Readington and Branchburg (BRAAC) joined together in preparing opposition to the anticipated arguments that Solberg’s Master Plan update with put forth. One key factor is for the airport sponsor to establish a need for their proposals.
