The Township Committee wants the public to write to their NJ District 16 representatives demanding they assist the communities of Readington and Branchburg in gaining seats on the Solberg Master Plan Citizens Advisory Committee.
This Solberg Committee was announced at the December 6, 2023 Public Information Meeting #1 held at Readington Middle School by the Airport Sponsors (Solberg family) and their representative DY Consultants.
Stepping back a minute, the Readington Township Committee faced an unusual standing room only crowd with many residents speaking to implore the Committee Members to oppose any expansion efforts by the airport owners’. The Committee, in response, asked the community to take the above stated action.
In order to facilitate these communications, District 16 which includes both Branchburg and Readington, representatives are Senator Andrew Zwicker, Assemblyman Roy Freiman and Assemblywoman Mitchelle Drulis with office mailing addresses in this link. Additionally, email communications may be sent to one or all via the NJ Legislative website.
