Solberg Airport development sponsors have scheduled their second public update meeting, again soliciting public input, probably in a format that will preclude the sharing of information and opinion in an open forum such as a Public Hearing.
It is not known what information will be presented, however, in a November 8, 2023 letter to the then Mayor of Readington Township the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) communicated a Master Plan Schedule indicating an expected completion by the end of 2024. This second public meeting could very well be the presentation of that plan or any intermediate level of completion prior to the finish.
Concerned citizens are urged to attend this meeting and communicate their opposition to expansion!
